The Shrine Bowl, which started in 1974, brings together the best high school football players from Kansas to not only showcase their talents but to also raise funds and awareness for Shriners Hospitals for Children.
This year, the game has even more significance, as 17 children from the hospital will be honored during the event.

A Life-Changing Hospital Experience
The Hospital Experience Day was a pivotal moment for the players, particularly Bryer Finley, who was named the United Kansas Conference Offensive Player of the Year.
During the visit to Ottawa University, the East squad players spent time with young patients who were invited to the team’s training sessions. They shared meals, played games, and created lasting memories with the children.

Adding Another Shawnee County Representative to the East Squad
Another local player, Caden Estrada from Washburn Rural High School, will also be joining the East squad.
