Then, on June 3, OCR also began an investigation into the Minnesota Department of Education after receiving a complaint alleging that MDE’s policies allowed males to compete in female sports and use female-only facilities.
With both investigations, the Department of Education has now elevated the matter to the Title IX SIT for further action.
